St Matthew's PCC priorities
1. Establish a family friendly worship service once a month.
2. Technology update to improve what we can offer our schools as well as for use in services.
3. New service booklets.
St Edmund's PCC priorities
1. Less formality in worship, including develop an all age team.
2. Pastoral outreach to Allestree families starting with contacts from occasional offices (weddings/baptisms/funerals) and the needs of existing congregation members (many elderly with health needs or family member with health needs).
3. Growing our faith and discipleship through study and prayer. Home/small groups as a place of pastoral and prayer support as well as Bible study.
Celebration concert for Rev Peter barham
The choirs of both St Edmund's and St Matthew's were joined by the Derventio choir for an evening of choral music in memory of Rev Perter Barham.
