St Matthew's room hire
St Matthew’s Fellowship Room is ideal for small events, celebrations and meetings. You can hire it for a single event, or for regular activities. It has an excellent kitchen with all the usual equipment for hosting up to forty people for a meal. The room can accommodate up to 50 seated or 90 standing. There is a range cooker, microwave, fridge (sorry, no freezer), pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The room has plenty of tables and chairs. There is level access from the large carpark, disabled parking and 2 toilets, plus baby-changing facilities.
Although it is not licensed for public entertainment or the sale of alcohol, that doesn’t affect your private event. Bring your own sound, video and drink. The hall is curtained for films and illustrated talks. Regular activities need your own Public Liability Insurance and Safeguarding Plan.
We are near the A6/A38 junction, two miles north of Derby. The hall is boldly marked Fellowship Room, on the car park side of the church. Our postcode is DE22 1EY.
